Innovation day project

Hello today I will be talking about the project I did for innovation day we had to make   medievel  castles with a working drawbridge and everything we had to make rooms in the castle like the throne room a great hall.  here are some facts I learned during my research…

facts about castles…

1. there are so many difrent types of castles  like diffrend shapes and sizes.
2. castle walls sometimes enclosed a series of small buildings.
3. castles have a water supply within the walls.

lords vs serfs…

1. lords are quite powerful while serfs are not
2.  lords could do a lot more then serfs could

feudal system…

1.  the king is at the top the king was the most powerful                                                                                            2.  nobles, lords and church leaders were the second most powerful                                                                      3. middle class, merchants and craftsmen are the third most powerful                                                                 4. freeman and serfs are the least most powerful

Hi everyone today I am going to talk about  our inovation day project  we were told to make a medievel castle with a working draw bridge a drawbridge is a big type of door that  opens  by going up and down instead of regular doors that you are used to so we are told to type down how we made our castle.

1.  Get a carboard box with no top (if there in a top cut it off)
2. Make a hole for the drawbridge
3. cut out squares on the top for decoration
4. make the pulley system
5. atach to the drawbridge
6. add gears (to get extra)
7. we made a pulley system flag for our teacher (it was her bimoji) but you can probably do one for yourself
8. build a wath tower/jailhouse we made a fire pit at the top
9. now inside the castle we made a clock
10. we made a table
11. we made a throne ( if you have a bitmoji you can be the king/queen)
12. we made a toilet ( make you on the toilet too!)
13. Now its time to paint!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
14. paint it grey (if you want use black to make bricks)
15. now you can decorate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
16. what we did was use bitmojis but you can use stickers or something or if you like your castle how it is dont do any thing
17. take a picture with you and your castle
18. YOU ARE DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is my self assesment:

My teacher likes giveing us these after we do a project it is sort of us grading our selfs so this is how I think I am

My hypothisis:

A hypothesis is what someone thinks is going to happen sometimes it is what they think and sometimes it is not what they think.

I thought our castle would be big and painted light grey and would look better but it is fine the way it is it is not exactly pretty but it is creative and unique but anyway I thought our pulley system would not work that great but it worked pretty good I did not think we would use gears but you know what we did I thought we would only use one pulley system but we used THREE!  I really thought our castle would have turned out pretty bad but it turned out amazing!
