My goal is to be really good in hebrew like just in general all the things  like writing reading and theses are ways to achive it

1.  listen in hebrew class (that is the only way to achive it)

So for our self directed science we were doing rocks and minerals, well for that we had to choose something that has to do with rocks and minerals. and we had to do some sort of project  that has to do with what you chose. I chose birthstones, I found a lot of facts who knew birthstones were that cool? any way my project was a self that had a bunch of birthstones on it so I will go through  all the steps for how I made it then I will put a picture of it as well.

1. get a rectangle box with an opening
2. get 1 big piece of cardboard to go in the middle
3. get 16 pieces of cardboard to put for shelves (thats right 16 birthstones!)
4. glue the cardboard inside the cardboard
5.   get all the birthstones
6. put all those pictures of birthstones on a google docs
7. print it
8. glue the pictures on to the shelf
9. take a picture of it

Hi everybody I am going to talk about birthstones so there 16  diffrent types of birthstones I will explain that but first I will explain what a birthstone is  a precious or semiprecious stone associated with a month or sign of the zodiac and thought to bring luck if worn by a person born in that month or under that sign. okay so these are the 16 birthstones

January: Garnet

Febuary: Amethyst

March: Aquamarine

April: Diamond

May: Emerald

June: Pearl & Alexandrite

July: Ruby

August: Peridot

September: Sapphire

October: Opal & Tourmaline

November: Yellow Topaz

December: Tanzanite

Here are som facts about each birthstone:

January & Garnet

• Garnet is January’s birthstone and the gemstone for the 2nd wedding anniversary.
• Garnet rates as a 6.5 to 7.5 on Moh’s scale.
• The name “garnet” comes from the Latin word granatus, which means pomegranate.
• The term “garnet” actually refers to a variety of gemstones. These gemstones are composed of closely-related minerals and come in several colors, including red, orange, green, pink, and purple. Red garnets are by far the most popular variety, and are what most people think of when they hear “garnet.”
• In ancient times, the word “carbuncle” was used for red garnets and other red gemstones.
• Carbuncle is believed to be one of the four gemstones that God gave to Solomon.

Okay I know that was a lot but I think garnet is really cool but this one had a bit more facts then the others will.

Febuary & Amethyst

March & Aquamarine

Aquamarine ranks as a 7.5 to 8 on Mohs Scale. Aquamarine was named for its resemblance to seawater. The Latin word aqua means water while the Latin word marina means “of the sea.”

diamond  holds significant meaning for those born in that month, thought to provide the wearer with better relationships and an increase in inner strength. Wearing diamonds is purported to bring other benefits such as balance, clarity and abundance.

Hello today I will explain how I became a geologist  so my job is being a geologist and I went into the future it was 2094 and at first I was tranported to albaqurque  and THE WORLD WAS MADE OUT OF COOKIE DOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  so what I had to do was really important so since the earth turned to cookie dough the only rocks that were there was CHOCOLATE CHIPS but I had to get all the chocolate chips out without breaking the earth I did not succseed  so in albaqurque the dough was soft but then I was tranported to hawaii and there the dough was hard and I was not suposed to break the earth I was not suposed to break the earth that did not work eathier then I ate all the world it was so yummy. here is some pictures.

Hello today I will be talking about the project I did for innovation day we had to make   medievel  castles with a working drawbridge and everything we had to make rooms in the castle like the throne room a great hall.  here are some facts I learned during my research…

facts about castles…

1. there are so many difrent types of castles  like diffrend shapes and sizes.
2. castle walls sometimes enclosed a series of small buildings.
3. castles have a water supply within the walls.

lords vs serfs…

1. lords are quite powerful while serfs are not
2.  lords could do a lot more then serfs could

feudal system…

1.  the king is at the top the king was the most powerful                                                                                            2.  nobles, lords and church leaders were the second most powerful                                                                      3. middle class, merchants and craftsmen are the third most powerful                                                                 4. freeman and serfs are the least most powerful

Hi everyone today I am going to talk about  our inovation day project  we were told to make a medievel castle with a working draw bridge a drawbridge is a big type of door that  opens  by going up and down instead of regular doors that you are used to so we are told to type down how we made our castle.

1.  Get a carboard box with no top (if there in a top cut it off)
2. Make a hole for the drawbridge
3. cut out squares on the top for decoration
4. make the pulley system
5. atach to the drawbridge
6. add gears (to get extra)
7. we made a pulley system flag for our teacher (it was her bimoji) but you can probably do one for yourself
8. build a wath tower/jailhouse we made a fire pit at the top
9. now inside the castle we made a clock
10. we made a table
11. we made a throne ( if you have a bitmoji you can be the king/queen)
12. we made a toilet ( make you on the toilet too!)
13. Now its time to paint!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
14. paint it grey (if you want use black to make bricks)
15. now you can decorate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
16. what we did was use bitmojis but you can use stickers or something or if you like your castle how it is dont do any thing
17. take a picture with you and your castle
18. YOU ARE DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is my self assesment:

My teacher likes giveing us these after we do a project it is sort of us grading our selfs so this is how I think I am

My hypothisis:

A hypothesis is what someone thinks is going to happen sometimes it is what they think and sometimes it is not what they think.

I thought our castle would be big and painted light grey and would look better but it is fine the way it is it is not exactly pretty but it is creative and unique but anyway I thought our pulley system would not work that great but it worked pretty good I did not think we would use gears but you know what we did I thought we would only use one pulley system but we used THREE!  I really thought our castle would have turned out pretty bad but it turned out amazing!

Hello today I am going to talk about about what we were doing in English we were doing stop motion. Stop motion  is this thing where you take a bunch of pictures and it turns out to be sort of like a video thing you can do it with clay or lego here are to videos on how to do it

so we were reading this book called The wild robot so the task that we were suposed to was create a stop motion  so we had to make a  backround and characters it  was really fun  it took like a month or maybe more.

the things that went well were well pretty much everything exept getting roz out of the crate and we waited for a long time to ask for help so next time we will ask for help sooner.

Hi everyone I am going to talk about the second science unit we did! the second science unit we did was sound. These are five the  properties  of sound.

1.Sound travels.

2. Sound can be reflected[it can bounce off things].

3.Sound can be absorbed [it does not bounce off some things].

4.Sound can be modified [e.g. pitch and loudness].

5. Sound is caused by vibrations .

I am going to tell you some questions my teacher asked me and I answered.

1. Why can you hear  someone  who is in a another room?                                                                                 because sound travels. the way it travels  is because the sound reflects.
2. Why do we hear echoes ?                                                                                                                                         we hear echoes because of a reflect wave.
3.  In a recording studio the walls a covered in bumpy foam. why would they do this?                               because when walls are like  that the sound reflects better.
4.    Name multiple objects we have that allow us to increase the volume of a sound .                                microphones and megaphones.

5.  Why  can we hear sounds better in air then we can  underwater?                                                                       because there is not enough air.

Did you know that dogs can hear way more sounds the humans can?

Pitch refers to how high or low a sound is. a flute makes a high pitch sound, where as a tuba makes a low pitch sound

so the way I made this was I first cut out a lot of cardboard into a lot of different   shapes and sizes then I had to hot glue  the cardboard clay and stuff like that so the reason we did this was because we were learning about sound.
